Warmly lit restaurant dining room with wooden tables and pendant lights
Seasonal kitchen · Open-fire cooking

Dinner that follows the arc of the day.

Mara Arc cooks over embers and oak, starting from whatever the growers and fishers bring in that morning. Unhurried evenings, generous plates, and a room made for staying another hour.

Our kitchen

Fire, patience and a short list of good things.

Every dish at Mara Arc starts at the hearth. We cook slowly over glowing wood, so vegetables char sweetly, fish stays tender and bread comes out blistered and warm.

The menu shifts with the weeks rather than the calendar. When something is at its best we cook it, and when it's gone, it's gone.

  • Produce chosen with growers we know by name
  • Bread, butter and ferments made in house
  • A wine list focused on small, low-intervention producers

Questions before you visit

Can you cater for allergies and dietary needs?

Yes. Most dishes can be adapted for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests. Please mention serious allergies in your request so the kitchen can prepare.

Do you take walk-ins?

We keep a few dining room tables and the bar free for walk-ins every evening. The chef's counter and private room are by reservation only.

Are children welcome?

Children are very welcome in the dining room and at Sunday lunch, where we offer smaller plates. The chef's counter is best suited to guests aged 12 and over.

Is there a dress code?

No. Come as you are. Most guests dress for a relaxed evening out.

How does booking the private room work?

Send a request with your date and group size. We'll reply with set menu options, and a deposit secures the room once you've chosen.
